EAAP (C&G) / ICAR&Interbull
Joint sessions of EAAP (Cattle and Genetic commissions) with ICAR and INTERBULL
For many years, every second year Interbull organised its annual meeting in conjunction with EAAP's. In 2015 there will be an exception and Interbull will organise its annual meeting in July, with the Joint Annual Meeting (JAM) in Orlando, USA.
However, due to high interest for an Interbull workshop shown by EAAP Annual Meeting participants, EAAP Cattle and Genetic commissions will organise two joint sessions with Interbull during the 66th Annual Meeting in Warsaw. Additionally, Cattle Commission will organise a joint session with ICAR.
The sessions have been combined into one block of sessions over two days:
- New sources of phenotypes in cattle production. EAAP Cattle commission joint session with ICAR. Wednesday, September 2nd, afternoon session (1400 1800 );
- In the age of genotype, the breeding objective is queen. EAAP Cattle commission joint session with Interbull. Thursday , September 3rd morning session (0830 - 1230);
- Efficient computation strategies in genomic selection. EAAP Genetics commission joint session with Interbull. Thursday, September 3rd afternoon session (1400 - 1800).
